May 17, 2018: Hillside, IL 60162 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) and the host Proviso West Panthers (Hillside, IL), saw Montini Catholic's volleyball squad beat Proviso West by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Montini Catholic upgrades its record to 20-7 on the year. The Broncos travel to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, May 18. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 18-12. Marian Catholic lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against St. Patrick (Chicago, IL)
The Panthers now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Naperville North for a non-league bout on Monday, May 21. Proviso West will play a Huskies squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 16-18.
