McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), 65-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, McCool Junction improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Hampton (Hampton, NE) to battle the Hawks in a D6 District 2 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 16. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-3.

With the loss, Meridian drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Deshler (Deshler, NE) to battle the Dragons in a D6 District 1 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 16.
