Georgia High School Football - Tift County held off by Lowndes

October 30, 2020: Valdosta, GA 31601

Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Tift County Blue Devils (Tifton, GA), 17-13 in a league test.

With the triumph, Lowndes improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA) to battle the Packers in a AAAAAAA Region 1 test on Friday, November 6. The Packers come into the test with a record of 5-0. Colquitt County won 34-13 in their recent league test against Camden County (Kingsland, GA)

With the loss, Tift County drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Camden County (Kingsland, GA) to battle the Wildcats in a AAAAAAA Region 1 test on Friday, November 6. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 4-4. Camden County lost 34-13 in their recent league test against Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA)
