The New Britain Golden Hurricanes crushed the visiting Weaver Beavers baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Golden Hurricanes now possess a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avon for a non-league bout on Monday, May 8. New Britain will face a Falcons team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Falcons record now stands at 7-5.
