South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Elko Indians (Elko, NV), 9-7 in a league test.

With the win, South Tahoe upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Vikings host Churchill County (Fallon, NV) to battle the Greenwave in a non-league test on Friday, March 24. The Greenwave come into the test with a record of 6-0. Churchill County won 13-2 in their recent non-league test against North Valleys (Reno, NV)

With the defeat, Elko falls to 3-1 on the season. The Indians travel to Sparks (Sparks, NV) to battle the Railroaders in a non-league test on Friday, March 24. The Railroaders come into the test with a record of 5-3. Sparks lost 13-3 in their recent non-league test against Fernley (Fernley, NV)
