The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions prevailed the host Ironwood Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mountain Lions now have a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rincon for a non-league test on Saturday, October 8. Mountain Ridge will confront a Rangers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Rangers record now stands at 16-6.

The Eagles (18-6) will now prepare for their test against Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Valley Christian dropped by Xavier College Prep (Phoenix, AZ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
