Oregon High School Volleyball - Aloha tips St. Mary's Academy
October 22, 2011: Beaverton, OR 97007 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Aloha Warriors (Beaverton, OR) volleyball squad edged the visiting St. Mary's Academy Blues (Portland, OR), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Warriors battle the Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) in a 6A Metro contest, on Tuesday, October 25. Aloha will attempt to better on its 16-5 season record. The Apollos come into the contest with a 13-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Westview (Portland, OR).
With the loss, St. Mary's Academy falls to 8-9 on the season. The Blues travel to Central Catholic (Portland, OR) to meet the Rams in a 6A Mt. Hood challenge on Tuesday, October 25. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 27-0. Central Catholic won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Clackamas (Clackamas, OR)
