October 1, 2011: Freeburg, IL 62243 In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Freeburg Midgets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the West Wildcats.
The Midgets (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Central (Breese, IL). The Cougars come into the Cahokia - Mississippi battle with a 11-5 record. In their last battle, Central lost by Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Urbana Tigers (Urbana, IL) in a Big Twelve battle, on Tuesday, October 4. West will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Centennial (Champaign, IL).
