Texas High School Volleyball - Hico edged by McGregor
August 27, 2011: Hico, TX 76457 The McGregor Bulldogs held off the host Hico Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holland for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 30. McGregor will confront a Hornets team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to McGregor (McGregor, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.
The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Evant (Evant, TX). The Elks enter the non-league test with a 13-7 record. In their last test, Evant was nudged by Dublin (Dublin, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
