The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) and the visiting Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL), saw East's volleyball squad beat Downers Grove South by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, East upgrades its record to 12-3 on the year. The Fighting Saints host Rosary (Aurora, IL) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Friday, October 7. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 19-7.

The Mustangs now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Huntley for a non-league bout on Friday, September 30. Downers Grove South will play a Red Raiders squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 14-1.
