The Northwest Texans topped the visiting Bishop Lynch Friars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Texans now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paschal for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 31. Northwest will confront a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 10-9.

The Friars (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Lamar (Arlington, TX). The Vikings enter the non-league test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Lamar was knocked off by Dumas (Dumas, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
