March 8, 2011: Oroville, CA 95966 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Willows Honkers softball team scored a close 6-3 win over the Oroville Tigers.

Game Summary
The Honkers scored one in the first inning after lead off hitter Megan Hughes walked, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Natalie Massa, stole third and then scored on a passed ball. In the third inning Brianna Brothers scored after being hit by a pitch, moved to second on a stolen base and then scored on a ground ball to the right side of the infield by Patricia Farrell. Brothers had a big hit in the fourth inning scoring Myra Jaramillo who reached base on an error and Katie Whitney who reached on a hit batsmen. With runners on second and third, Brothers came through with a clutch hit up the middle scoring Jaramillo and Whitney. Brothers capped off the scoring in the fourth with an RBI by Farrell. Brothers scored again in the sixth after a two out double followed by an RBI single from Ashley Love. Brothers pitched a complete game with a season high 11 strikeouts, walking one and giving up five hits and only two earned runs. The Lady Honkers move to 2-0 on the season.
