Fowler Redcats (Fowler, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Riverdale Cowboys (Riverdale, CA), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Redcats now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Exeter for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 12.

With the loss, Riverdale falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Washington Union (Fresno, CA) to battle the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
