Central Knights (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI), 6-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Knights travel to South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI) to battle the Rebels in a Division I - South test on Sunday, June 7. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 12-9.

With the defeat, Johnston falls to 9-11 on the season.
