Georgia High School Softball - Crisp County bounces Jenkins County
August 17, 2019: Cordele, GA 31015 Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA), 8-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tift County for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 20. Crisp County will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over East Laurens (East Dublin, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Jenkins County falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The War eagles travel to Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA) to battle the Raiders in a 3-A challenge on Tuesday, August 20. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 1-3. Savannah Christian lost 16-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Metter (Metter, GA)
