Ohio High School Basketball - Oakwood nips Carlisle
January 26, 2015: Carlisle, OH 45005 Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Carlisle Indians (Carlisle, OH), 34-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oakwood upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Felicity-Franklin (Felicity, OH) to play the Cardinals in a Southern Buckeye - National bout on Thursday, January 29. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Felicity-Franklin lost 45-43 in their recent league bout against Bethel-Tate (Bethel, OH)
Next up, the Indians play the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye bout, on Saturday, January 31. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record.
