Concordia Mustangs (Omaha, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Scotus Shamrocks (Columbus, NE), 55-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concordia upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE) to play the Pioneers in a C1 District 2 challenge on Saturday, December 20. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Shamrocks confront the Pierce Bluejays (Pierce, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 19. Scotus will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 69-11 non-league win over O'Neill (O'Neill, NE).
