January 29, 2015: Lawrence, KS 66046 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Heights Falcons (Wichita, KS) and the host Lawrence Lions (Lawrence, KS), saw Heights's basketball squad overcome Lawrence by a tally of 61-51.
With the victory, Heights improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Shawnee Heights (Tecumseh, KS) to confront the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 30. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Shawnee Heights won 32-12 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest (Wichita, KS)
Next up, the Lions confront the Highland Park Scots (Topeka, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 31. Lawrence will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 55-36 non-league win over West (Topeka, KS).
