Texas High School Basketball - Bastrop crushes LBJ Austin
November 29, 2018: Austin, TX 78724 Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host LBJ Austin Jaguars (Austin, TX), 59-14 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bastrop upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Bears travel to Hays (Buda, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 29. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Hays won 64-37 in their recent league bout against Anderson (Austin, TX)
Next up, the Jaguars clash with the Madison Mavericks (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 30. LBJ Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Mavericks go into the bout with a 4-12 record after their 38-26 non-league loss to Ray (Corpus Christi, TX).
