The Minden Whippets tipped the visiting Cozad Haymakers basketball team by a final score of 51-45 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Whippets face the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 31. Minden will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Dusters enter the game with a 3-13 record after their 44-30 non-league win over Schuyler (Schuyler, NE).
