Oregon High School Basketball - Sheldon overwhelms Roseburg
February 8, 2019: Roseburg, OR 97470 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the host Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR), saw Sheldon's basketball squad wallop Roseburg by a tally of 70-30.
With the victory, Sheldon improves its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Irish host North Medford (Medford, OR) to confront the Black Tornado in a 6A Southwest challenge on Tuesday, February 12. The Black Tornado come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Indians confront the South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR) in a 6A Southwest challenge, on Tuesday, February 12. Roseburg will attempt to improve on its 2-21 season record. The Axe come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 70-54 league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR).
