California High School Basketball - Village Christian tops Highland

Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Highland Bulldogs (Palmdale, CA), 65-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Village Christian upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 11. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Golden Valley won 74-43 in their recent non-league bout against Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Quartz Hill Rebels (Quartz Hill, CA) in a Golden bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 43-35 non-league win over Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA).
