In Thursday's league outing, the Marion Center Stingers (Marion Center, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Homer-Center Wildcats (Homer City, PA), by a margin of 54-31.

The Stingers (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Purchase Line (Commodore, PA). The Red Dragons go into the Heritage outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Purchase Line was trounced by Blairsville (Blairsville, PA), 70-60, in a league outing.

The Wildcats now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to United for a Heritage outing on Monday, January 21. Homer-Center will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 57-51 non-league win over Richland (Johnstown, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-6.
