Missouri High School Basketball - Ozark overwhelms Joplin
February 4, 2019: Ozark, MO 65721 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Ozark Tigers (Ozark, MO) and the visiting Joplin Eagles (Joplin, MO), saw Ozark's basketball squad wallop Joplin by a tally of 67-18.
With the victory, Ozark improves its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a Central Ozarks challenge on Thursday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Carl Junction won 49-39 in their recent league challenge against Webb City (Webb City, MO)
Next up, the Eagles play the Hillcrest Hornets (Springfield, MO) in a Ozarks challenge, on Tuesday, February 5. Joplin will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 4-14 record after their 47-43 league loss to Waynesville (Waynesville, MO).
