Seton (Bladensburg, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Connelly School of the Holy Child (Potomac, MD), 45-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seton upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The host Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA) to play the Cardinals in a Washington Catholic bout on Sunday, January 20. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the play the Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs (Washington, DC) in a Interstate Athletic bout, on Tuesday, January 22. Connelly School of the Holy Child will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 14-2 record after their 57-51 non-league win over The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD).
