Connecticut High School Basketball - Manchester holds off Wethersfield
January 2, 2019: Manchester, CT 06040 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Manchester Indians (Manchester, CT) and the visiting Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), saw Manchester's basketball squad hold off Wethersfield by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Manchester improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to East Catholic (Manchester, CT) to confront the Eagles in a Central Connecticut - East Colonial challenge on Friday, January 4. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. East Catholic won 55-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Glastonbury (Glastonbury, CT)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Newington Indians (Newington, CT) in a Central Connecticut - North Colonial challenge, on Tuesday, January 8. Wethersfield will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.
