In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Western Panthers basketball team scored a decisive 55-33 triumph over the Carroll Cougars.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Northwestern Tigers (Kokomo, IN) in a Hoosier - East match, on Tuesday, January 15. Western will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 19-2 record after their 69-33 non-league win over Harrison (West Lafayette, IN).
