March 16, 2023: Peoria, AZ 85383 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Sunrise Mountain Mustangs (Peoria, AZ) and the host Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ), saw Sunrise Mountain's volleyball squad beat Liberty by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sunrise Mountain upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Ironwood (Glendale, AZ) to play the Eagles in a bout on Tuesday, March 28. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Ridge for a bout on Thursday, March 30.
