Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Summit knocks off Standley Lake
January 15, 2022: Westminster, CO 80021 The Summit Tigers trounced the host Standley Lake Gators ice hockey squad by a tally of 6-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Summit betters its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO) to confront the Huskies in a 4A Mountain bout on Friday, January 21. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Battle Mountain won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Resurrection Christian (Loveland, CO)
The Gators now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Kent Denver for a non-league bout on Monday, January 17. Standley Lake will confront a Sun Devils squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Sun Devils record now stands at 5-1.
