Jesse Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 13-0 in a league test.

With the win, Jesse Carson upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, March 30. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-4. Mount Pleasant lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC)

With the defeat, West Rowan falls to 6-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to battle the Colts in a non-league test on Saturday, March 31. The Colts come into the test with a record of 10-2. West Stanly lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against North Stanly (New London, NC)
