The Cherryville Ironmen got by the visiting Highland School of Technology Rams baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Ironmen now possess a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they host West Lincoln for a non-league bout on Monday, March 26. Cherryville will face a Rebels team coming off a 9-4 league win over East Lincoln (Denver, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 5-4.

Next, the Rams face the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, March 26. Highland School of Technology will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Huskies enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 15-3 league loss to Stuart Cramer (Belmont, NC).
