Virginia High School Baseball - Potomac School wallops Georgetown Day
April 12, 2018: McLean, VA 22101 Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Potomac School Panthers (McLean, VA) and the visiting Georgetown Day Mighty Hoppers (Washington, DC), saw Potomac School's baseball squad knock off Georgetown Day by a count of 21-3.
Coming up next, the Panthers play the St. Anne's-Belfield Saints (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 14. Potomac School will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Saints enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Woodberry Forest (Woodberry Forest, VA).
The Mighty Hoppers now possess a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Flint Hill for a Mid-Atlantic [MAC] battle on Tuesday, April 17. Georgetown Day will play a Huskies squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over St. Stephen's & St. Agnes (Alexandria, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 8-6.
