Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Southern Wells Raiders (Poneto, IN), 6-1 in a league test.

With the win, Jay County upgrades its record to 10-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Heritage (Monroeville, IN) to battle the Patriots in a Allen County test on Thursday, May 10. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 10-8. Heritage lost 11-1 in their recent league test against Bluffton (Bluffton, IN)

With the defeat, Southern Wells falls to 3-12 on the season. The Raiders travel to Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Allen County test on Thursday, May 10.
