Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Mabank Panthers (Mabank, TX), 12-7 in a league test.

With the win, Wills Point upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Tigers host Van (Van, TX) to battle the Vandals in a 4A Region II District 13 test on Friday, March 23. The Vandals come into the test with a record of 6-2. Van won 12-2 in their recent league test against Brownsboro (Brownsboro, TX)

With the defeat, Mabank falls to 7-6 on the season. The Panthers travel to Canton (Canton, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 4A Region II District 13 test on Friday, March 23. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 9-1. Canton won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Rusk (Rusk, TX)
