May 9, 2018: Watertown, CT 06795 The Watertown Indians crushed the visiting Torrington Red Raiders baseball team by a tally of 12-2 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Indians now hold a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they host Naugatuck for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 10. Watertown will face a Greyhounds team coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-9.
Next, the Red Raiders face the Wolcott Eagles (Wolcott, CT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, May 11. Torrington will attempt to advance on its 6-10 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 12-3 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT).
