April 23, 2018: Greeley, CO 80634 The Northridge Grizzlies crushed the visiting Mountain View Mountain Lions baseball team by a count of 7-1 in Monday's league bout.
The Grizzlies now possess a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centaurus for a 4A Northern bout on Thursday, April 26. Northridge will face a Warriors team coming off a 25-4 league loss to Longmont (Longmont, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 4-13.
Next, the Mountain Lions face the Silver Creek Raptors (Longmont, CO) in a 4A Northern bout, on Thursday, April 26. Mountain View will attempt to move on its 7-10 season record. The Raptors enter the bout with a 7-8 record after their 9-4 league win over Greeley Central (Greeley, CO).
Game Summary
Northridge wins its 5th straight game to improve to 7-3 in league and back to .500 overall at 7-7 with their 7-1 win over Mtn. View. Kaylor Werner is dominate on the mound as he throws 6 innings giving up just 2 hits, 1 earned run, 2 hit batsman, 1 walk and 7 strikeouts to improve his record to 4-2 on the season.
