East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC), 46-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Bladen upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Eagles host Red Springs (Red Springs, NC) to clash with the Red Devils in a bout on Friday, January 19. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 3-6.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the East Duplin Panthers (Beulaville, NC) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Wallace-Rose Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 59-13 non-league win over Richlands (Richlands, NC).
