New York High School Lacrosse - Jericho drops to Long Beach
April 12, 2023: Jericho, NY 11753 In Wednesday's league test, the visiting Long Beach Marines lacrosse squad scored a good 18-5 victory over the Jericho Jayhawks.
The Marines now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host North Shore for a non-league test on Friday, April 14. Long Beach will face a Vikings squad coming off a 15-7 non-league loss to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-2.
In their next game, the Jayhawks face the Sewanhaka Indians (Floral Park, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, April 19. Jericho will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Indians come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 10-2 non-league loss to Freeport (Freeport, NY).
