Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), 46-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Blue Ridge upgrades its record to 4-10 on the season. The Fighting Tigers travel to Greer (Greer, SC) to play the Yellowjackets in a AAA Region III bout on Tuesday, January 19. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Greer won 53-42 in their recent league bout against Clinton (Clinton, SC)

Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Chapman Panthers (Inman, SC) in a AAA Region III bout, on Tuesday, January 19. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
