South Dakota High School Basketball - Centerville prevails St. Mary
December 15, 2009: Dell Rapids, SD 57022 Centerville Tornadoes (Centerville, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD), 59-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Centerville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Baltic (Baltic, SD) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Baltic won 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Parker (Parker, SD)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Elkton/Lake Benton MN Elks (Elkton, SD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 17. St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Elks go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 63-33 league win over Flandreau (Flandreau, SD).
