In Friday's league outing, the South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northview Knights (Brazil, IN), by a margin of 62-38.

The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their outing against Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN). The Mustangs go into the Western Indiana outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Edgewood was trounced by Owen Valley (Spencer, IN), 65-54, in a league outing.

The Knights now own a 4-11 record. They take the field next when they host Clay City for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 26. Northview will encounter a Eels squad coming off a 46-38 non-league win over Sullivan (Sullivan, IN). The Eels record now stands at 9-8.
