California High School Basketball - Hughson nips Buhach Colony
December 8, 2023: Hughson, CA 95326 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Hughson Huskies (Hughson, CA) and the visiting Buhach Colony Thunder (Atwater, CA), saw Hughson's basketball squad hold off Buhach Colony by a tally of 47-45.
With the victory, Hughson improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Linden (Linden, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Linden lost 35-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA)
Next up, the Thunder play the Reedley Pirates (Reedley, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Buhach Colony will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 34-31 non-league win over Caruthers (Caruthers, CA).
