Virginia High School Basketball - Clarke County knocked off by Wilson Memorial
December 29, 2023: Berryville, VA 22611 The Wilson Memorial Green Hornets basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Clarke County Eagles to 28 in the Green Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Green Hornets now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverheads for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Wilson Memorial will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 37-18 non-league win over Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-4.
The Eagles (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Rappahannock County ran past Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA), 38-26, in a non-league contest.
