California High School Basketball - Monte Vista holds off Amador Valley
January 27, 2024: Pleasanton, CA 94566 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) and the host Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA), saw Monte Vista's basketball squad hold off Amador Valley by a tally of 61-56.
With the victory, Monte Vista improves its record to 15-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Granada (Livermore, CA) to confront the Matadors in a challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Matadors come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Granada won 59-55 in their recent league challenge against Dublin (Dublin, CA)
Next up, the Dons confront the Foothill Falcons (Pleasanton, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 2. Amador Valley will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record.
