October 5, 2018: Stem, NC 27581 Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC), 33-8 in a league test.
With the win, Granville Central improves its record to 5-0 on the season. The Panthers travel to Bunn (Bunn, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Northern Carolina 1A/2A test on Friday, October 12. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 4-2. Bunn won 44-42 in their recent league game against Vance County (Henderson, NC)
The Warriors now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren County for a Northern Carolina 1A/2A game on Friday, October 12. J.F. Webb will battle a Eagles team coming off a 41-6 league loss to South Granville (Creedmoor, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
