Arizona High School Football - Desert Ridge drops to Mountain Pointe

October 19, 2018: Mesa, AZ 85212

In Friday's league game, the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) football team knocked off the host Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ), by a final score of 28-20.

The Pride (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ). The Aztecs come into the 6A Central game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Corona del Sol was dropped by Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ), 56-15, in a league game.

The Jaguars now hold a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland for a 6A Central game on Friday, October 26. Desert Ridge will battle a Hawks team coming off a 38-7 league win over Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Hawks record now stands at 8-1.
