August 31, 2018: Kokomo, IN 46902

In Friday's league match, the visiting Carroll Cougars football squad scored a close 28-27 victory over the Taylor Titans.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN) in a Hoosier Heartland match, on Friday, September 7. Carroll will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Blackhawks enter the match with a 2-1 record after their 52-0 league win over Tri-Central (Sharpsville, IN).

The Titans (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Eastern (Greentown, IN). The Comets enter the Hoosier Heartland match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Eastern held off Wes-Del (Gaston, IN), 32-6, in a non-league match.
