The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ) and the visiting Hunterdon Central Red Devils (Flemington, NJ), observed Ridge's football squad thwart Hunterdon Central by a tally of 23-14.

The Red Devil now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Bridgewater-Raritan for a Mid-State 38 - Delaware contest on Friday, September 14. Ridge will play a Panthers squad coming off a 35-24 league loss to Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 0-2.
