The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) and the host North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR), observed Sheldon's football squad thwart North Medford by a tally of 35-6.

The Irish now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Jesuit for a non-league contest on Friday, October 5. Sheldon will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 42-16 non-league win over Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.

Coming up next, the Black Tornado play the Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) in a 6A Special District 7 contest, on Friday, October 5. North Medford will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Cavemen go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 44-39 league win over Roseburg (Roseburg, OR).
