Louisiana High School Football - Washington-Marion held off by Jennings

September 28, 2018: Lake Charles, LA 70615

Jennings Bulldogs (Jennings, LA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA), 24-20 in a league test.

With the triumph, Jennings improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Welsh (Welsh, LA) to battle the Greyhounds in a non-league test on Friday, October 5. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 4-1. Welsh won 41-12 in their recent non-league test against Erath (Erath, LA)

With the loss, Washington-Marion drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Charging indians travel to Westlake (Westlake, LA) to battle the Rams in a 3A District 4 test on Friday, October 5. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-4. Westlake lost 13-12 in their recent league test against Iowa (Iowa, LA)
